Chapter 1: The iPhone 11's Legacy
Hello everyone! As many of you are aware, the iPhone 11 is definitely among my top picks for iPhones, and I genuinely believe it stands out as one of the finest models Apple has ever created. However, its future could be jeopardized by the upcoming iPhone SE 3, whenever it decides to launch. The extent to which this new device may affect the iPhone 11 really hinges on Apple's choices regarding its design. Most rumors suggest that the upcoming SE won’t feature a significant redesign, yet there are whispers about an iPhone SE potentially adopting the iPhone XR's design. If that turns out to be the case, I struggle to envision how the iPhone 11 could maintain its relevance alongside such a model.
While the iPhone 11 may not remain in Apple's lineup by the end of this year, especially with the anticipated arrival of the iPhone 14, it’s likely we’ll see it phased out, reminiscent of the iPhone XR's removal a few months prior. Is this a negative development? Not necessarily. However, I would be disappointed to see the iPhone 11 replaced by the iPhone SE 3, particularly if it shares the same design traits as the iPhone SE 2. I wouldn’t be keen on trading my device for a smaller phone with a reduced battery capacity. In my view, refreshing the existing iPhone SE 2 with an updated model could be a viable option, and I could envision Apple introducing a different alternative to the iPhone 11 at some point. Still, I would prefer not to see it substituted for the iPhone SE 3.
Ultimately, I have a deep appreciation for the iPhone 11, and I hope it remains available for a while longer. What are your thoughts on this matter?
