This feature is advantageous as it allows users to refine their queries based on context, similar to how one might add “Reddit” to a Google search for reviews. With this extension, you can directly engage with specific domains, like Reddit, to seek relevant AI-generated answers.

However, it’s important to approach AI responses with caution. For instance, when I queried, “When was Python created?”, the extension provided the correct date but incorrectly stated that Python 2.7.18 was the latest version released in 2020, which is inaccurate since Python 3 is currently available.

Ideally, the AI should indicate the specific source of its information, although this could be challenging if data is aggregated from various locations on a webpage.

This feature feels reminiscent of a radio station. The real question is whether this will enhance the Spotify user experience. While song recommendations are common, the introduction of a voice to discuss the tracks may add a new layer of interactivity.

A potential game changer could be the integration of music with podcasts and news summaries, creating a voice experience akin to social media. This could significantly reduce the time users spend on screens.
