Vocal Media has introduced a motivational writing challenge for artists and creators alike. The Vocal team inspired us with their poignant message: “There are times when art and creativity may feel insignificant in the face of world events. However, creating during challenging periods enables us to comprehend ourselves and connect with one another.”

The aim of this writing challenge is “to support Ukraine by participating in the Moment of Freedom Challenge. Participants can craft a short story, essay, poem, or personal narrative reflecting on freedom — its struggles, beliefs, and joys.”

This distinctive challenge encourages writers to share their personal narratives about freedom and its effects on their lives, communities, and loved ones. Readers are eager to discover what freedom signifies to you, whether it’s a profound or trivial experience.

This challenge differs from previous ones as it shifts focus from cash prizes to a charitable contribution. Vocal Media will donate $10,000 to United Help Ukraine. After the contest concludes, the Vocal Team will curate a collection of the 50 most impactful and inspiring stories to be featured on their platform. The Vocal Media team urges creators to amplify their support for Ukraine through their art.
