If you find yourself lacking specific goals, it might indicate a need to explore new hobbies or interests. This realization could serve as a catalyst to discover activities that provide you with a sense of purpose. Consider trying various pursuits such as gym workouts, running, hiking, swimming, or sports like football, tennis, or basketball. Personally, I've enjoyed each of these activities. Once you identify a meaningful hobby, you can revisit the questions above to facilitate your goal-setting process.

To spark your imagination, here are some of my current objectives:

  • Achieve a monthly income of $10,000 by March 20, 2026
  • Reduce body fat to 10% as soon as possible
  • Perform 100 consecutive push-ups by September 1, 2024
  • Complete a muscle-up by the end of 2024

Imagine you have a yearly target in mind. What steps can you take this week to move closer to that goal? To clarify, I'll relate this to my personal objectives:

  • $10,000/month by March 20, 2026 — Committing to daily writing on Medium to eventually earn enough to invest in a purposeful business model.
  • 10% body fat ASAP — Maintaining a slight calorie surplus while ensuring adequate protein intake for muscle growth, combined with regular cardio to shed excess fat. Tracking my weekly progress has proven invaluable.
  • 100 push-ups by September 1, 2024 — Testing my maximum push-up count daily (I progressed from 45 to 66, and now I'm at 71 as of April 27).
  • Complete a muscle-up by the end of 2024 — Persevering through numerous attempts until I succeed.

Even if your goal-setting process isn't perfect, the confidence gained from striving toward your objectives will inspire you to set even more ambitious goals.
