Exploring New Publications: A Journey for Aspiring Writers

Chapter 1: New Opportunities Await
The landscape of Medium is ever-evolving, and recently, I’ve embarked on an exciting journey, joining six publications, with four already in my repertoire. A fresh addition is on the horizon as well.
In the past few days, I encountered a valuable resource for both novice writers and those new to Medium. Just four days ago, we welcomed 15 recommended publications from fellow authors. Today, I stumbled upon a new publication that had been hinted at last week.
Do you think our paths cross by chance, or are they meant to intertwine? I’m referring to Carl Jeffers, the mind behind Word Garden. If you’ve only encountered his work recently, you might have missed his earlier contributions on Medium, which play a crucial role in the narrative of his latest publication.
Carl joined the platform in November 2023, coinciding with my own entry into the Medium community. However, I only discovered his posts after December 17, 2023. This shared timeline highlights our mutual goal of achieving financial independence through writing.
Another intriguing coincidence is that Carl’s articles were often published alongside those of Bouncin' and Behaving Blogs, a publication I recently became part of. As many know, writing about financial success or Medium itself tends to generate significant interest, often accompanied by mixed reactions.
For many, this aspiration remains a distant dream, yet few openly discuss it. Transparency is essential, as it allows other writers to grasp key insights that can elevate their work. Over time, I’ve found methods to increase my readership, learning to focus on what resonates and setting aside personal ambitions temporarily—sometimes for days, weeks, or even longer.
Ultimately, Carl took the leap, and I believe this decision marked a pivotal moment in his writing journey. The train of opportunity is now ready to propel your writing endeavors forward, thanks to Freelance Express Pub.
For newcomers, locating the right audience or suitable publication can be daunting. Often, writers seek guidance, while others prefer to browse a list of options. Here are five publications I have either joined or plan to join soon. I will continue adding remarkable publications and writers as I discover them:
