One of the cornerstones of my EDC is the Herschel Classic Backpack. This compact and affordable bag has been my faithful companion since 2018, traveling with me across the globe without showing signs of wear. It features a padded compartment for my laptop or iPad and a small front pocket lined with microfiber to protect delicate items. The backpack is spacious enough to hold all my gear while remaining lightweight and easy to transport.

Section 2.2: Ray-Ban Aviator Sunglasses

As I explored cities like San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Toronto, a good pair of sunglasses became indispensable. After years of using inexpensive options, I treated myself to Ray-Ban Aviators for my birthday. Their durability and timeless style make them a worthwhile investment. My father has had his pair for over two decades, and I aspire to enjoy mine just as long.

Section 2.3: Peppermint Chewing Gum

Chewing gum is a constant companion for me, as it helps me stay focused and keeps my hands busy. I often carry a pack of 15 peppermint-flavored gums, although I occasionally experiment with bolder flavors. This habit also stems from a desire to reduce my chubby cheeks, a goal I haven't achieved yet, but it's a fun excuse to indulge!

Section 2.4: AirTag-Compatible Key Ring

Recently, I've become a fan of AirTags for tracking my belongings. By using a key ring compatible with AirTags, I can easily keep tabs on my keys and other essentials. I typically carry three sets of keys, and knowing I can locate them via my phone or Apple Watch provides peace of mind.

Section 2.5: LARQ Water Bottle

Investing in a high-quality water bottle has transformed my hydration habits. The LARQ water bottle not only filters water but also maintains its freshness. While it is a bit pricey, I believe the benefits far outweigh the cost, especially as I continue to prioritize nutrition and wellness.

Section 2.6: iPhone 12

My iPhone 12 serves as the heart of my EDC. Its size and the vibrant Product Red color make it a favorite of mine. While I considered the Pro models, I realized I didn't need their advanced features. I plan to write a detailed blog post about my phone setup in the future.

Section 2.7: Apple Leather Wallet

Transitioning to the Apple Leather Wallet has streamlined my carry. It magnetically attaches to the back of my iPhone and features FindMy tracking, ensuring I can quickly locate it when misplaced. Although it holds only three cards, this minimalistic approach has been refreshing.

Section 2.8: Apple Watch SE

The Apple Watch SE has exceeded my expectations, allowing me to manage reminders, track workouts, and monitor my fasting schedule. It's the perfect fit for my needs without the unnecessary features of higher-end models.

Section 2.9: AirTags

AirTags have become vital for ensuring I don't misplace my essentials. I keep two on hand, one on my key ring and another hidden in my backpack, providing immediate notifications for their whereabouts.

Section 2.10: 2018 iPad Pro 12.9" with Smart Folio Keyboard

If I had to choose one item from my setup besides my phone, it would be my iPad Pro. Its versatility allows me to handle a multitude of tasks, from writing and research to video editing and sketching ideas. The impressive battery life means I can go for days without needing to recharge.

Section 2.11: 2019 MacBook Pro 16"

As a software engineer, carrying a powerful laptop is essential. My MacBook Pro has been my go-to for intensive programming tasks and has become invaluable for remote work in various settings.

Section 2.12: AirPods Pro

For listening to music and podcasts, I rely on AirPods Pro. Their seamless connectivity with my Apple devices and effective noise cancellation make them great for commuting and casual listening. However, for longer work sessions in noisy environments, I prefer my next item.

When deep focus is required, I use Sony WH-1000XM3 headphones. With over 30 hours of battery life and exceptional noise cancellation, they are perfect for long working sessions in cafes or during flights.

Section 2.14: Charging Accessories

To keep all my devices powered, I’ve established a compact and efficient charging setup. My portable wireless charging stand accommodates multiple devices, while USB-C outlets and cables ensure I can charge my laptop and iPad without hassle.
